The Shimano Deore RD-M5100 rear derailleur was designed for 1x11-speed drivetrains and works perfectly with cassettes that have a gradation of 11-51 teeth.
It features Shadow+ clutch technology, where a stabilizer counteracts chain sag, slap and drop. The rear derailleur is mounted via a standard derailleur hanger and cannot be mounted directly.
